Observation Piece LONG VERSION

The room was dim as I entered it. The bright outside light reflected off on the linoleum floor and shone into the room making the movie on the screen become lighter. Mr. Rodgers turned and tried to make eye contact with me as I slowly entered the room. I slunk in tot he room sitting on the ground next to three roller chairs with red carpet like upholstery.  The movie not he screen was Thumb Wars, a parody of Star Wars, but only acted out by thumbs.
The annoying voices coming from the screen were easy to drown out and soon became white noise. The slight chitter chatter of the other student s became more apparent. The light illuminating front their phone screens made it obvious as to who was really watching the movie and who was just completely off task. I stood up again because the boy I was sitting under reeked of Axe Tropical. A little goes a long way and sitting new tho him was making it hard to breathe.
I walked from my seat at computer 3 all the way down the aisle trying to avoid crossing over the screen. I turned left after the row ended and walked into almost complete darkness. I know the layout of the back office. go straight and open the door to the control room. Take a left after the largest computer and go in to the storage cage room. I decided to go slightly to the left and then go down the corridor to a new door. I couldn't see anything but I reached forward and opened the usually locked back door. The room I walked into was dark and I hit my head on a low hanging ceiling and crouched to move under it. The automatic light flickered on. The inside room had a small stage and a huge sound room with sound proof walls. On top of the sound room, I could see guitar cases and next to the amp sitting on the ground, was a black Stradler guitar. In the corner was a keyboard connected to another amp and inside of the sound room there was a full drum kit. I sat in the room for the remainder of my observation period and strummed the guitar, trying to find the cords to play 'Come as You Are'. The room was quiet and caming allowing me to just relax and stop hearing the sounds of the school. The coolness on the room and the comfortableness of the chair I was sitting in put me into a lull, almost putting me to sleep.
