1) Pope Fran-Dizzle was invited by congress, made a speech addressing Global Warming and the effects it has on everyone. It was a historic moment because it is the first time a pope has every addressed a joint meeting in congress.
2) Many see that the players who attacked the referee after he made a racist comment were completely justified. The Teenagers will return to school after 75 days in an alternative learning center. The assistant coach resigned. Moreno is frustrated because none of the people in questions showed up to the hearing, including Watts.
3) Angry parents gathered outside of Maplewood elementary to protest and ask the school to rehire a teacher in the 6th grade. The School system is trying to keep the "leveling" at a controllable rate, and it's hurting the brightest students at Maplewood because it is forcing them to stay in remedial classes. The Brykerwoods rally ended with the school rehiring the teacher that would of been sent away, so this is a goal that could possibly be reached with the protest.
4) A senator asked about the new gun law that will be put into place Jan 1, of 2016. He asked about holstered guns on school property. He sees the law a something that won't really change anything. It was just a question so it won't really matter for a few more months, and by then, who knows what the world will be like.
5) A 27 year old women under the influence of alcohol hits three girls leaving 16 year old Ekia, in a vegetable state. She pleads guilty after a false accusation to mirandize the officer. I think its pretty disgusting that she would even try to pus false information onto the officers who caught her after she pretty much ruined a girls life.
6) Obituaries include day of death, birth, marriage, greatest accomplishments, and remaining family. Since most of that information is on public record, it isn't that hard to find and or right an obituary. I guess something that would be a unique quality was like the largest accomplishment or perhaps a peaceful quote. I would probably try really hard to underline the best of the person without immortalizing them.
1. The central message was not about global warming. Who invited him? How does the description of the crowd illustrate American interest?
ReplyDelete2. The dispute is whether or not the comments were made.
3. All levels of sixth-grade classes are being combined.
4. There is more to his question than this.
Good job on last two questions.
